Installation & Setup

1. System Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
.NET Framework 4.8 or higher
Siemens TIA Portal V15, V16, V17, V18, V19, V20 or V21
RAM: Minimum 4 GB (8 GB recommended)
Hard disk: 500 MB
Internet connection for license validation (every 7 days, 14-day offline tolerance)
Internet connection for LLM (optional)

2. Installation

Download the installer
Run the installer
Choose the installation path
Complete the installation
Start the software

3. License Activation

Enter the license key
Hardware ID is automatically determined
License file is generated and saved locally
Software is activated

4. TIA Portal Integration

Configure MCP server
Check permissions
Test connection
Start using

5. Updates

Automatic update check on startup. Updates are downloaded and installed after confirmation.

6. Troubleshooting

Check admin rights
Temporarily disable firewall (for testing only)
Check Hardware ID
Start TIA Portal in the same user context
